However, there are many issues plaguing some of the higher ups at Lenape.

With programs giving student RCBC credits for regular courses, students benefit from college credits graduating from high school. I had a semester worth of credits after graduating. I've had some fantastic teachers throughout the years.

There were a few teachers I enjoyed having as my teacher, but when it comes to students, that's another story which I don't feel like getting into. The staff say "We want to make this school safe for everyone" Yeah, what an absolute joke that is. Whether it's everyday drama or something extreme, in the end, everyone just gets a slap on the wrist and a "Don't do it again". Come on now, if you want to make this a good school, stick to your word and take action so it doesn't continue. Long story short, others may have or may have had a better experience. However, I definitely did not have a good experience my whole time attending here.

The JROTC teacher "retired early" aka was fired for not supervising his students. What happened in the classroom while the teacher was gone, you may ask? Well, a flagpole was forced up and ruptured a student's body part by multiple students (Will avoid specifics, but you GET THE GIST)

One of the teachers gave me herpes.

For example, a teacher within his first year of being hired was fired and filed as a sex offender for taking upskirt photos of minors. (Look it up, this is NOT just rumors)

-mateo ._.

Last but not least, the school currently has a lawsuit for $1million due to bias and racism amongst the football coaches and players. This does not surprise me whatsoever. I witnessed a group of white varsity football players throw food at a boy and called him awful, awful things, because the student was gay. Bystanders, following the schools own policy of zero tolerance for bullying, got the principal Mr.Catani on the scene. Once a majority of the students cleared out, the principal let off these students with a really weak warning, knowing they're serious players on the football team. If any other student was caught harassing a student physically and verbally, they'd definitely be punished.

We've all heard about corruption scandals in colleges, but they've infected public high schools as well.

this is the best hs ive ever been to (and the only one) but yeah boii we outtt.

Good education, serious issues everywhere else.

Is this school tracking this? Hello? Anyone? Somewheeeeere... Over the rainbow!

Teacher's were not allowed to comment on either subjects until charges were filed. Since the school dealt with the latter student's parents in private, chargers were never filed or made public, unlike the teacher. The students, however, were punished discreetly to try to cover it up. Witnesses were threatened by the principal, Mr. Catani, to keep quiet. The perpetrators were allowed to continue attending school and graduate while the victim was forced to leave due to embarrassment.

Speaking of which, the school priorities it's crappy football team above everything else, because if the revenue/publicity it generates. The team just recently got past regionals, I believe, for the first time ever, and suffered an awful loss. The school still dedicated an entire day for a pep rally for the athletic department for the "accomplishment". The marching band, however, reached National competitions REPEATEDLY and received close to no recognition.
