Two weeks later I was pulling out of work and saw a deer in a backyard of an adjacent home. I flashed oncoming traffic twice to let him know not to die and I was stopped for it. The policeman let me go with a warning after fifteen minutes of waiting and saying "I don''t see any deer." You're right sir, it was all a prank. I got you good.
Plus Richie McCloughlin (no clue how to spell it) the resource officer from Lenape back in the early 2000's was the best.
I would rather tunnel under the Earth than drive through this god forsaken departments vicinity. Stop preying on youth that you know can't afford a lawyer or have the time to battle your petty charges. Fix it.
When I was 19 I got a job at Murphy's Marketplace in Medford. My first two days I received two tickets (two days in a row) on Hopewell Road. The first ticket was for speeding, which I was not; and the second ticket was for veering out of my lane - which I also did not do. It felt like the cop picked a thing to say when he got to my window. I vividly remember driving carefully, scared, past them being mindful to do nothing wrong and they stopped me for bullshit again. People shouldn't feel like they need to do a U-turn when they see you.
When I was 17 I got stopped in a parking lot with a young female. Cop made me get out car. He asked girl if she was okay. When she said yes, the officer gave me a high five and said to have a good night. I was so scared. But that was ultimate cool cop move. Made me see Medford police totally different.
