I wanted to send flowers to a memorial service 2,000 miles from where I live. I’d had a disastrous experience a couple years ago ordering flowers for someone in another state, and I was nervous about how this might turn out.
I love this shop - always friendly, always helpful and they always delivery a quality gift that receives RAVE REVIEWS! Thank you Richardsons for being a local go to shop.
If I could give this place a negative rating, I would! My husband ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers & the order was, unfortunately, placed in this company's incompetent hands. He was going to surprise me, but this place requested information that was already on the order form...3 times! In turn, ruining the surprise. Between the information my husband & I gave them, they had all the information they needed. Yet at 2pm, I received a call advising that the information was never provided to them. She proceeded to scream at me, call my husband stupid for ordering with 1-800-Flowers & not directly with them. I tried to provide her the information several times, but she just kept screaming at me & speaking over me. After calling my husband stupid and advising she didn't want our business, I hung up on her to call 1-800-Florist. She proceeded to call me back to scream at me some more. My husband has has ordered a ton of flowers for me (delivered to the same address she claims she wasn't given and/or couldn't find) and there's never been a problem. She claims she googled the address & some hospital came up. Yet when I put my work address in, my company names pops tight up. Now keep in mind, this address she googled was the one she claims she was never given. In my opinion, this woman is crazy & very, very nasty! However, she's the one that's lost business because I spoke with 1-800-Flowers, as she told me to do - since it was their problem, not her's- and they refuse to send orders to her anymore due to her attitude towards their customer(s).
Thank you Richardson's Flowers for helping me pick out the perfect arrangement to give my girlfriend. She couldn't stop talking about them (called most of her family) and they lasted weeks. Best flower shop I have every experienced.
A very Special Thank you, to Diane for an awesome Smiley arrangement, sent to a very Special friend who was in a car accident. She said, the flowers were just what she needed for an uplifting in her spirit and it put a Big smile on her face.
After some online research and a recommendation from the retirement center where the service was to be held, I selected Richardson’s Flowers. I called the store directly (rather than going through a national florists network), since I had a special request. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful answering questions and taking my order. I wanted to substitute a different color of a particular flower in the arrangement shown on their website. They had no problem with my request, and there was no additional charge for the switch. They emailed me a copy of the invoice.
I arrived an hour before the memorial service began, in case there were any issues with the delivery. I shouldn’t have worried – the arrangement had arrived on time and it was absolutely gorgeous! The flowers were at their peak, my requested substitution had been made, and the message on the card was correct. I couldn’t have been more pleased, and after the service I was proud to offer them to local relatives. (I was sorry I couldn’t take them home with me on the plane!)
